More than 27,000 runners participated in the Boston Marathon yesterday. It is truly heartbreaking that an event that is normally surrounded by such positivity ended in such utter tragedy. Our sincerest thoughts and prayers go out to those that have been affected by this event.
At InnoVergent the majority of our clients are located on the upper east coast area of the US, with some of our clients within blocks of where the explosions occurred. We hope that all of our customers and their families are safe and well during this terrible time, and wish a speedy recovery for anyone affected by the damage of the explosions.
Many people are not currently able to work from their businesses because areas of Boston have been closed off to the public as authorities search for evidence to explain what happened.
While this event has been the definition of a tragedy, and has undoubtedly caused widespread panic, heartache, grief, chaos, and toil for many of our customers, we were glad to know that we could at the very least provide our clients with a functioning business, so that is one less thing that they will have to worry about in a time of disaster.
