Below are the highlights of the Global Financials, Professional Services Automation and Suite Commerce enhancements.
2018.1 Release Highlights
Advanced Revenue Management
The Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) enhancements associated with the 2018.1 release allow users to create revenue journal entries for specific date periods and distinguish between creating journals for schedules or for plans.
Additionally, the Expense Waterfall reporting tool enables:
- Visibility to deferred expense balances in summary and detail
- Reconciliation with balance sheet
- Forecast of expected expense stream
Multi-Subsidiary Customers
Struggling with duplicate records across multiple subsidiaries in NetSuite is not uncommon. In an effort to provide the best possible software for users, release 2018.1 gives you the ability to view and manage multi-subsidiary customers as a single record, providing a single location for transactions regardless of the origin of the transaction.
Professional Services Automation
In the 2018.1 release, you can see an enhancement on one of the highest traffic areas of NetSuite: the weekly timesheet. The new timesheet has a more user-friendly interface with improved capabilities that include memo fields, mass approval/rejection and more!
Suite Commerce Highlights
The new release adds more capabilities to the Sitemap Generator, which generates a new sitemap in minutes. Additionally, it allows marketing managers and non-technical users to create easily editable themes for their storefronts for different events, seasons and products with customizable colors, buttons, shapes and fonts.
Anyone authorized to use the CMS tool can import commerce categories through a simple CSV upload, and access previews and live updates.
