Adaptive Insights is Named a Leader in Gartner’s 2016 Magic Quadrant for Corporate Performance Management Solutions Leader

Last month, Gartner released the 2016 Magic Quadrant Strategic Corporate Performance Management Solutions report. InnoVergent partner Adaptive Insights was named a leader out of 16 vendors based on its ability to execute and completeness of vision.

As stated in the report, strategic corporate performance management (CPM) solutions allow CFOs and other business leaders to manage organizational performance and strategy. CPM solutions fall under Gartner’s definition of postmodern ERP as “a technology strategy that offers diverse options for automating and linking administrative and operational business capabilities with levels of integration that balance the benefits of vendor-delivered integration against customers’ requirements for flexibility and agility.”

The 16 vendors evaluated were divided into those that (1) develop, sell and market a single, integrated solution and (2) vendors that develop, sell and market multiple, distinct products.  Some of the most relevant aspects that were evaluated included:

  • product strategy
  • market understanding
  • customer satisfaction

According to the author, Research Vice President John E. Van Decker, Adaptive Insights achieved this status thanks to high customer satisfaction and strong execution and cloud experience. “This vendor’s highest score was for customer experience; it also received above-average scores for sales and marketing execution,” he said.

In addition, Adaptive Insight’s newest features were highlighted as they now enable the linking of planning dimensions across multiple applications and give companies the ability to apply virtual attributes while also allowing for more complex planning models.

Aside from the 2016 Magic Quadrant for Corporate Performance Management Solutions report, Gartner has recently emphasized the relevance of cloud usage for businesses. “Cloud will increasingly be the default option for software deployment. The same is true for custom software, which increasingly is designed for some variation of public or private cloud.”
